DMARC Policy
A domain's DMARC policy tells receiving mail servers what to do with emails that fail DMARC. Progressing to p=reject gives full protection.
Policy levels
none
Monitoring mode. Emails are not rejected or quarantined. Use this to collect data and identify all sending sources before enforcing.
quarantine
Failing emails are sent to spam. Good intermediate step while resolving remaining sources.
reject
Failing emails are blocked entirely. Maximum protection. Only move to reject once all legitimate senders pass DMARC.
Updating the policy
Go to the domain's DMARC policy page and click Upgrade Policy. Albaspot updates the DMARC TXT record in your DNS automatically. The change takes effect at the next DNS TTL expiry.
