Domain Registration Agreement

1. Domain Registration Services

This Domain Registration Agreement ("Agreement") supplements our Terms of Service and governs the registration, renewal, and management of domain names through Albaspot.

2. Registration Process

Domain registration is subject to availability and registry approval:

• Domain availability is checked in real-time but not guaranteed until payment is processed
• Registration may be rejected by the registry for various reasons
• We act as an intermediary between you and the domain registry
• All registrations are subject to registry and ICANN policies

3. Registration Periods and Renewals

Domain names are registered for specific periods:

• Initial registration periods vary by TLD (typically 1-10 years)
• Domains must be renewed before expiration to maintain ownership
• Auto-renewal can be enabled to prevent accidental expiration
• Renewal notices are sent via email prior to expiration
• Grace periods and redemption periods vary by registry

4. WHOIS Information and Privacy

Domain registrations require accurate contact information:

• WHOIS Privacy Protection: Included free with all registrations
• Accurate contact information must be provided and kept current
• False or inaccurate information may result in domain suspension
• You can update WHOIS information through your account dashboard
• Some TLDs may not support privacy protection

5. Domain Transfers

Transferring domains to or from our service:

• Transfer In: Free transfers with 1-year extension included
• Transfer Out: No fees charged by us (registry fees may apply)
• Domains must be unlocked and have a valid authorization code
• Transfer process typically takes 5-7 days
• Domains cannot be transferred within 60 days of registration or previous transfer

6. DNS Management

Premium DNS services included with all domains:

• Advanced DNS management interface
• Multiple record types supported (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc.)
• Global anycast DNS network for fast resolution

7. Domain Pricing and Fees

Domain pricing includes:

• Registration fees vary by TLD and are clearly displayed
• WHOIS privacy protection (included at no additional cost)

8. Registry and ICANN Compliance

All domain registrations must comply with:

• ICANN Registrar Accreditation Agreement requirements
• Individual registry policies for each TLD
• Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP)
• Transfer policies and procedures
• Registry-specific terms and conditions

9. Domain Disputes and UDRP

Domain name disputes are handled according to ICANN policies:

• Disputes may be filed under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy
• We will comply with legitimate UDRP decisions
• Trademark disputes should be resolved through proper legal channels
• We do not mediate disputes between third parties

10. Domain Expiration and Deletion

Important information about domain expiration:

• Expiration Notice: Sent 30, 15, and 7 days before expiration
• Grace Period: Typically 30 days (varies by registry)
• Redemption Period: 30-day period where domains can be restored (fees apply)
• Deletion: Domains are released back to the public after redemption period
• Email delivery issues may prevent receipt of renewal notices

11. Special Conditions by TLD

Some top-level domains have special requirements:

• Country Code TLDs (.uk, .de, etc.): May have residency or business requirements
• Restricted TLDs (.edu, .gov, etc.): Subject to eligibility verification
• Premium Domains: Higher registration and renewal fees
• Sunrise/Landrush Periods: Special registration phases for trademark holders

12. Liability and Indemnification

Domain registration liability is limited:

• Our liability is limited to the annual registration fee for the domain
• You indemnify us against claims related to your domain registration
• Registry decisions are final and beyond our control
• We are not responsible for third-party registry policies or changes

13. Termination and Suspension

Domains may be suspended or terminated for:

• Non-payment of renewal fees
• Violation of registry policies
• False or inaccurate WHOIS information
• Legal orders or court decisions
• Violation of our Terms of Service
